-2009 A-Sun Second Team All-Conference (Outdoor, shot put)

 

As a freshman, 2009: (Outdoor Track): Participated in four meets competing in both the discus throw and the shot put … she was able to break UNF’s school records in both events, in the discus she recorded a 37.35 meter throw and in the shot pot recorded a distance of 12.56m … in her successful season she recorded two second place finishes in the shot put, one at the UNF Osprey Challenge and the other at the A-Sun Championship which nominated her for the A-Sun Second Team All-Conference.   

 

High School: 2008 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., where she played for Arthur Lobe, Bernie Farell and Dave Frisco, lettering four years … earned All-District honorable mention as a junior … participated in the North vs. South-Central all-star game and played with the Broward all-star team … former high school teammate Shennette Sheffield also plays for the women's basketball team … other high school teammate Charlease Williams plays for Jacksonville … also lettered four years in track and field… earned all-state honors and was named team MVP … her team was named best-Herald County team and all-country … placed second in state as a senior in the shot put and seventh in discus … career-best put distance was 41’4” … helped team to consecutive championships (2004-06).

 

Personal: Majoring in biology … born on Feb. 14, 1990, in Lakeland, Fla., daughter of Dr. Abigail Mobley-Bellinger, who is a college professor … has two older brothers, Emory and Lance, and an older sister Kyrh … names her mother as the person she most admires … describes one of her future goals as becoming one of the best student-athletes to ever play at UNF.
