As a junior, 2009: (Indoor Track): Competed in the pole vault, long jump and high jump in the A-Sun Championship … during the A-Sun Championship Delbovo was able to finish first place in the pole vault receiving an A-Sun First Team All-Conference nomination with her height of 3.05-meters … she also received a third place finish in the Jimmy Carnes Invitational long jump event reaching a distance of 5.52m. (Outdoor Track): Delbovo during the course of the season stood out in pole vaulting receiving two first place finishes at the UNF Osprey Challenge (3.20m) and at the A-Sun Championship picking up an A-Sun First Team All-Conference nomination and recording a new school record with a height of 3.55m … ran on the 4x100m relay team which put up their best time in the A-Sun Championship with a time of 46.77, which was good enough for a second place finish.
As a sophomore, 2007-08: (Indoor Track): Competed in all four meets, including the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships where she finished seventh in the pentathlon with 3,002 points…Competed in the ERAU Challenge on Feb. 2, finishing fourth in the 800m (2:37.20), high jump (1.48m), and long jump (5.06m). (Outdoor Track): Competed in five of the seven meets...Her best finishes of the season came at the Seminole Invitational on April 12, where she finished sixth in both the 400m hurdles (1:09.73) and high jump (1.55m), establishing a new career best in both events…Finished eighth in the heptathlon at the A-Sun Conference Championships with 3,905 points, setting a new personal best in the event.
As a freshman, 2006-07: (Indoor Track): Competed in three meets, including the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships ... posted a ninth place finish in the pentathlon, while at the A-Sun championships, earning 2,509 pts... completed best long jump while at conference meet, jumping 5.11m, and earning ninth place. (Outdoor Track): Competed in six of the Lady Ospreys' eight meets, participating in numerous events like the long jump, javelin throw and heptathlon ... set a new school record in the heptathlon while at the A-Sun championships, earning 3,696 points, and finishing in fourth place... posted best distance and finish in the long jump while at the FSU Invite, finishing in seventh place (5.10m)... earned all-conference honors as a member of the 4x100m relay team that finished the conference championship in third place.
High School: Ran track for Santa Fe Catholic High School... competed all four years of high school and one year for cross country... Was the district and regional champ in the 100m and 200m in 2003 and 2004... member of the state champion 4x400m team in 2004.. also played soccer and swimming... was the defensive MVP in 2004 and 2005... was an all-county runnerup in 2006...
Personal: Majoring in nursing... Born June 28, 1988 to Annette and Mike DelBovo... older sister Lauren also runs track for UNF... has a younger brother Michael... favorite pro team is the Green Bay Packers... food and running keep her going on a bad day, while Italian is her favorite kind of food.
