(Indoor Track): Set a new personal-best in the shot put with a mark of 40-10 1/2 at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational, good for eighth place...Finished 13th in the shot put at the A-Sun Championships with a mark of 38-2 1/4...Logged a mark of 40-0 3/4 at the A-Sun Championships, a new career record. (Outdoor Track): Finished eighth in the shot put at the A-Sun Championships with a career-best throw of 40-2 3/4...Set a new personal record in the javelin with a throw of 75-5 at the A-Sun Championships...Finished ninth in the hammer at the USF Collegiate Meet with a mark of 135-7, a new personal best.
 

FRESHMAN (2009-10)
(Indoor Track): Finished ninth in the shot put (38-1 1/2) at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships, in addition to placing 17th in the weight throw with a career-best mark of 34-6 1/4 … heaved a personal-best mark of 39-7 3/4 in the shot put at the Tiger Paw Invitational. (Outdoor Track): Finished seventh in the discus with a personal-best mark of 122-3 at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships, in addition to placing 15th in the shot put (34-11) … placed eighth in the shot put with a personal-best throw of 40-0 at the FSU Relays … heaved a personal-best in the hammer throw at the USF Bulls Invitational with a mark of 98-1.

PREP AND PERSONAL

Competed in the shot put and discus ... place third at Region Championships in the discus in 2009 ... finished fourth in the shot put and discus at the 2009 State Championships ... played softball for two years ... was also a member of the weightlifting team for two years where she placed seventh at the State Championships in the unlimited weight class … born on Sept. 20 … daughter of Carlos and Maria Gonzalez ... has two younger sisters, Danielle and Brittany … majoring in Criminal Justice … chose North Florida over Atlantic Sun foes Jacksonville and Kennesaw State.
