(Indoor Track): Set a new personal record in the 55m with a 7.44 at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational...Finished fourth in the long jump at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational with a mark of 18-11 1/4, a new personal record...Took fifth in the triple jump at the A-Sun Championships with a mark of 37-11 1/2. (Outdoor Track): Won the long jump at the A-Sun Championships with a mark of 18-11 3/4...Finished fourth at the A-Sun Championships in the triple jump with a 39-1.
 

FRESHMAN (2009-10)

(Indoor Track): Placed fifth in the long jump (18-5) and triple jump (38-2) at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships, in addition to finishing eighth in the 60 meters (8.00) … clocked a personal-best 60 meter time of 7.94 in the prelims at the conference meet … won the long jump and triple jump at the Embry-Riddle Indoor/Outdoor Challenge with leaps of 17-8 1/4 and 36-10 1/4, respectively. (Outdoor Track): Placed third in the triple jump with a career-best mark of 38-9 at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships, earning Third-Team All-A-Sun honors, in addition to finishing fifth in the long jump (18-2 1/2) … posted a personal-best leap of 18-3 3/4 in the long jump at the FSU Relays … clocked career-bests in the 100 meters (12.62) and 200 meters (26.45) at the UNF Spring Break Open and Embry-Riddle Spike’s Classic, respectively.

PREP AND PERSONAL

Competed in the 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, long jump, triple jump, high jump and 4x100 meter relay … holds school records in the long and triple jump … qualified for the State Championships in her sophomore, junior and senior years with her best finish coming as a junior when she finished second in the triple jump … also played volleyball and basketball, where she was able to help her basketball team win a District Championship as a junior … born on Dec. 6 … daughter of Steve and Maria Smyth … has one older brother, Jason … majoring in Sociology.
