As a junior, 2008-09: (Indoor Track): Competed in the 55-meter, 60m and 200m in two meets … finished seventh in the 60m and 10th in the 200m at the A-Sun Championships … finished the 55m in 7.38 at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational for her best time of the season. (Outdoor Track): Ran in the 100m and the 200m … had two third place finishes in the 100m but her best time came at the Seminole Invite where she finished fourth with a time of 11.88 … in the 200m she had a second place finish at the UNF Osprey Challenge and recorded her best time at 24.76 in the Seminole Twilight … ran in the 100m at the A-Sun Championships where she posted a fifth place finish (12.05).
As a sophomore, 2007-08: (Indoor Track): Competed in all four of the Lady Ospreys’ meets…Best finishes of the season came at the ERAU Challenge on Feb. 2, where she finished fourth place in both the 60m dash (7.94) and 200m dash (25.85), setting new personal bests in both events…was also a member of the 4x400m relay team that finished first overall at the ERAU Challenge…Competed in the 60m dash at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships, finishing eighth with a time of 8.03. (Outdoor Track): Competed in six of the seven meets, including the A-Sun Conference Championships where she finished sixth in the 100m dash with a time of 12.39…Best finish of the season came at the Seminole Invitational on April 12, finishing fifth in the 100m dash with a time of 12:41…Also established a new personal best in the 400m hurdles at the Seminole Invitational with her seventh-place time of 1:09.97.
As a freshman, 2006-07: (Indoor Track): Competed in three meets, including the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships finishing the 200m dash in eighth place with a time of 26.14. (Outdoor Track): Participated in the 100m dash, 200m dash, 400m dash, 4x100m relay and 4x400m relay ... broke a long standing school record in the 100m dash while at the FSU Invite on April 14, finishing in seventh place with a time of 12.31 ... earned all-conference honors as a member of the 4x100 relay team that finished in third place at the A-Sun championships ... posted best 400m time at the FSU Relays on March 29-31 finishing in 1:00.36.
High School: Ran track at Lawton Chiles High School for four years ... helped her team win the district championships in 2004, 2005 and 2006 ... was the MVP in 2005 and 2006 ... earned second team all-district honors for her help on the 4x400 team her senior year ... holds the school record in the 100m with a time of 12.3 and the 200m with a time of 25.41.
Personal: Majoring in math education ... the daughter of Deborah and John Anderson... sister of Javonta Anderson Mavis Brown ... favorite color is baby blue ... lists her favorite athlete as Justin Gatlin because he gave her "some words of wisdom" ... future ambition in life is to succeed.
