JUNIOR (2010-11)
(Indoor Track): Set a new personal record while winning the pole vault at the A-Sun Championships with a mark of 12-1 1/2...Took second place in the pole vault at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational with a mark of 11-11 3/4. (Outdoor Track): Won the pole vault at both the A-Sun Championships and UCF Twilight Meet with marks of 12-1 1/2...Set a new personal and school record with a mark of 12-6 1/4 at the North Florida Invitational.
SOPHOMORE (2009-10)
(Indoor Track): Claimed the conference title in the pole vault with a career-best leap of 11-7 3/4 at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships … posted a career-best pentathlon score of 2,590 points at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational … turned in personal-best marks in the long jump (15-7 1/2) and pole vault (11-6 1/2) at the Embry-Riddle Challenge and Jimmy Carnes Invitational, respectively. (Outdoor Track): Competed in just the pole vault event during the outdoor season … did not post a mark at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships … finished 30th (11-9 3/4) at the NCAA Division 1 East Region Championships … posted a career-best pole vault mark of 12-5 1/2 en route to finishing first at the UNF Osprey Challenge.
FRESHMAN (2008-09)
(Indoor Track): Competed in the long jump and triple jump with season-best marks of 15-0 and 34-8, respectively. (Outdoor Track): Competed in six different events including a second-place finish in the triple jump at the UNF Osprey Challenge ... finished fifth in the heptathlon with 3,482 points at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships … clocked a season-best 100 meter hurdle time of 15.71 at the Seminole Twilight and her season-best triple jump mark of 35-11 3/4 came at the FSU Invite.
PREP AND PERSONAL
Helped lead her team to the conference title from 2004 to 2008 as well as the district title in 2007 ... claimed the conference championship in the long jump and triple jump her senior year, before moving on to take runner-up in the triple jump at the District Championships and third place at the Region Championships ... named First-Team All-Area … also competed on the gymnastics team throughout high school … born on Oct. 30 … daughter of Mark and Michelle King ... has one older brother, Collin, and one younger brother, Dakota ... dual majoring in Public Relations and Mathematics.
