As a junior, 2004-05: Recorded nine top-10 finishes on the year, one of which was a top five ... best showing of the year was a fourth-place finish in the 200-freestyle (2:03.95) against UNC-Wilmington ... finished 10th in the 200-backstroke at the National Independent Conference meet with a time of 2:14.12 ... took home a sixth-place finish in the 200-backstroke (2:19.25) and a seventh-place finish in the 200-freestyle (2:02.67) against Gardner-Webb/Campbell.
As a Sophomore in 2003-04: Won the 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:42.57 against FSU/UNC Wilmington. Placed second in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:03.41 against Florida Southern. Best time in the 200-yard freestyle was 1:58.93 at the NIC meet. Also at the NIC meet, placed 12th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:12.39) and 13th in the 100-yard backstroke (1:02.44).
As a Freshman in 2002-03: Placed fifth in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:13.41 and placed sixth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:02.38 in the Southern States championship meet. At the NIC meet, placed 13th in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:59.51. Made the Peach Belt Presidential Honor Roll.
High School: 2002 graduate of Wellington High School in West Palm Beach, Fla., where she swam for Luis Echerri. Was a three-time district champion and finished in the top eight of her events in the state championships all four years. Swam club for the Wellington swim team.
Personal: Majoring in elementary education. Born July 5, 1984, in West Palm Beach, her hometown. Daughter of Tom and Kitty Williams. Enjoys going to the beach, surfing and spending time with friends in her spare time.
