As a freshman, 2005-06: Took part in six meets, including the Pacific Coast Swimming Championship ... recorded three top-three finishes on the season ... took first in the 100-butterfly against Florida Southern/Saint Leo with a time of 1:02.49 ... continued to improve her time in the 100-butterfly in every meet, finishing third against Florida Atlantic in a time of 1:01.81 before recording a time of 1:01.06 at the PCSC.
High School: 2005 graduate of Titusville High School, where she swam four years for Natasha Kremer. Helped her team to a district title in 2004 and a Cape Coast Conference title in 2004. Named the 2004 Titusville High School Female Scholar Athlete of the Year. Attended the U.S. Scholar Athlete Games in Rhode Island in 2003. Part of record-breaking 200-medley relay team that competed in the Florida Zones in 2004. Set her best times in the 100-fly (:59.43), 50-free (:25.75) and 100-free (:55.31) at state meets. Named team MVP her senior year.
Personal: Majoring in nursing. Born July 29, 1987, in St. Petersburg, Fla. Hometown is Titusville, Fla. Daughter of Mendi and Paul Raymond and the older sister of Steven. Favorite food is pasta, favorite musical artists are Three Days Grace and Keith Urban, and favorite athlete is Andy Roddick. Lists her mother as her hero. Future goals are to visit Fiji and become a registered nurse.
