As a junior, 2005-06: Competed in every event with five top-two finishes, three of which were first-place finishes ... won her first 200-freestyle event she competed in with a time of 2:02.24 against North Carolina A&T ... won the 200-meter IM against Florida Southern/Saint Leo (2:18.62) and UNC-Wilmington (2:18.06) ... best time in the 200-IM came at the PCSC where she swam the event in a time of 2:15.74 ... swam the 200-butterfly at the PCSC recording a 14th-place finish with a time of 2:16.40.
As a sophomore, 2004-05: Swam her way to eight top-10 finishes ... top finish of the year was a second-place finish at the National Independent Conference meet in the 400-individual medley ... began the season with a seventh-place finish against Tulane and FSU in the 200-fly ... recorded sixth-place finishes in the 200-IM at the New Orleans Invite and the 200-fly in the Gardner-Webb/Campbell meet.
As a Freshman in 2003-04: Placed third in the 200-yard freestyle in her first meet as a Lady Osprey, finishing in 2:05.13 against Florida Southern. Also placed third in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:53.03) against FSU/UNC Wilmington. At the NIC meet, placed 12th in the 400-yard IM (4:49.73) and had a season-best time in the 200-yard butterfly, finishing in 2:19.55 for 11th place. Earned a place on the Peach Belt Presidential Honor Roll.
High School: 2003 graduate of Westminster Academy in Ft. Lauderdale where she was coached by Tom Fagley and served as captain of the varsity swim team her junior and senior years. She was district champion in the 100-yard backstroke and placed in the top 16 at the FHSAA state meet all four years.
Personal: Majoring in community health/exercise science. Born to Tom and Jan Roycraft on Feb. 13, 1985. Member of the Honor Society and competed in the Florida High School State Championships for water polo and track. In her spare time she enjoys going to the beach and shopping.
