As a sophomore, 2005-06: Swam in every meet for the Lady Ospreys, recording two first-place finishes ... opened the home season with a win in the 200-freestyle against Campbell in a time of 1:59.18 ... also recorded a second-place finish in the 100-freestyle in that meet ... won the 500-freestyle against Florida Southern and Saint Leo in a time of 5:21.16 ... followed that up with a pair of third-place finishes against UNC Wilmington in the 200-freestyle (1:58.91) and the 100-freestyle (:56.11) ... competed in three events at the Pacific Coast Swimming Conference Championship.
As a freshman, 2004-05: Recorded eigth top-five finishes and was part of the 800-yard freestyle relay team that set a school record in the National Independent Conference Meet. Began her career with a fifth-place finish at the Tulane/FAMU/FSU meet Oct. 15, finishing the 1,000-meter freestyle in a time of 11:10.62. Recorded a pair of fifth-place finishes in the 200-freestyle in meets against Gardner-Webb/Campbell and UNC Wilmington. Took home her first career first-place finish in the 500-freestyle against UNC Wilmington with a time of 5:19.42. Recorded a third-place and a second-place finish in the 500-freestyle in meets against Gardner-Webb/Campbell and FIU/Georgia Southern.
High School: 2004 graduate of Spruce Creek High School, where she swam under coach Steve Lochte. All-county swimmer her sophomore, junior and senior years. Named swimmer of the year her junior year. 500 freestyle, 200 IM and 5-star conference champion. Six-year varsity letter winner.
Personal: Majoring in art/photography and plans to attend seminary school after college ... born Feb. 14, 1986, to Patrick and Stacy Codd ... hometown is Port Orange ... hobbies include traveling and singing ... enjoys eating sushi and has a passion for mission trips through campus ministry.
