As a junior, 2005-06: Had six top-four finishes on the year competing in freestyle events ... took home third-place finishes against Campbell (200-freestyle), North Carolina A&T (50-freestyle) and Florida Southern/Saint Leo (200-freestyle) ... best performances of the year came at the Pacific Coast Swimming Championship ... finished the 50-freestyle in that meet in a time of :25.74 and the 100-freestyle in a time of :54.60. As a Sophomore, 2004-05: Recorded two top 30 finishes, both coming at the New Orleans Invite. Finished the 50-freestyle with a time of :27.25 and the 200-freestyle with a time of 2:09.28. As a Freshman in 2003-04: Placed third in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:53.03) against FSU/UNC Wilmington. Also placed third in the 1-meter dive against Tampa/FAU with a score of 109.28. Earned a spot on the Peach Belt Presidential Honor Roll. High School: 2003 graduate of St. Petersburg High School, where she swam for Sany Heidt. Also swam for Fred Lewis with the St. Petersburg Aquatics swim team. She qualified for the FHSAA state championship all four years, placing in the top 16 in 2001 and 2002. Personal: Majoring in biology. Born Sept. 20, 1984, to Glen and Bev McKelvey in her hometown of St. Petersburg. Enjoys going to the beach, scrap booking and traveling in her spare time.
