As a junior, 2005-06: Took part in five competitions, including the Pacific Coast Swimming Championship ... recorded three third-place finishes on the year ... took third place against New Orleans in the 1-meter competition with a score of 185.55 ... recorded a pair of third-place finishes in the 3-meter against UNC-Wilmington (191.25) and Florida Atlantic (228.53).
As a sophomore, 2004-05: Helped lead the Lady Osprey diving squad with five top-four finishes on the season ... began the year with a fourth-place finish at the Tulane/FAMU/FSU meet ... followed that with a third-place finish on the 1-meter board and a second-place finish on the 3-meter board in the UNC Wilmington meet ... finished the year with a pair of fourth-place finishes on the 1-meter and 3-meter boards at the FIU/Georgia Southern meet.
As a Freshman in 2003-04: Won the 3-meter event against Georgia Southern (223.2), FSU/UNC Wilmington (221.55) and Gardner Webb/College of Charleston (231.82). Won the 3-meter diving event at the Gardner Webb Invitational and finished second in the 1-meter. Also placed sixth in the 1-meter (205.8) and seventh in the 3-meter (324.6) at the NIC Championship. Earned a spot on the Peach Belt Presidential Honor Roll.
High School: 2003 graduate of Clearwater High School. On the swimming and diving team. Coached by Dick Smith. Came in 10th place at the state competition junior year and received first place at the Rotary Invitational in Oct. 2002, where she also took home Most Valuable Diver of the meet.
Personal: Major is elementary education. Born Sept. 11, 1985, to Kenton and Maureen Johnston in Canada. Hometown is Clearwater. Enjoys spending time with friends and going to the beach.
