No. 74 Men's Tennis Welcomes No. 71 Radford for Home Opener

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – No. 74 University of North Florida plays its home opener on Monday when the Ospreys take to the UNF Tennis Center for a 10 a.m ., match against No. 71 Radford.
Monday's match will be the Ospreys' second in three days. UNF opened the season at No. 44 Florida State, where the Ospreys fell 7-0. Both Moritz Buerchner and Leonardo Nahar went three set for their singles matches.
Since its first season as a Division I program in 2006, UNF is an all-time 8-1 on its home-opening day. Last year, the Ospreys handed a pair of 5-2 losses to Georgia State and Florida A&M on Jan. 22, 2011.
After a final tune-up at the UCF Spring Invitational last weekend, Radford plays in its first dual match of the season on Monday. The Highlanders return five players from last season's team that won the Big South Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Among those returning is Nick Sayer, who ranks 62nd nationally and No. 7 in the Atlantic Region.
Admission is free. Competition begins with doubles.
