
Men's Tennis Places Sixth In Mid-Major Recruiting Class Rankings

JACKSONVILLE, FLA – North Florida Men's Tennis was ranked sixth in the mid-major recruiting class rankings released by tennisrecruiting.net on Monday morning.
For the Ospreys, it marked their highest-ranked recruiting class since 2013. Joining UNF for the 2026-27 season is Andreas Messis and Noah Sauer Jimenez.
"Both guys are a phenomenal fit for our program. They are both great guys and high academic achievers. They love tennis, and they have ambition to play tennis professionally while competing for ASUN Championships," Head Coach John Collins said. "We are very excited to get to work with them when they arrive this fall. Go Ospreys!"
Andreas Messis | 6-1 | Larissa, Greece | ICL AcademyÂ
Messis boasts a 12.19 UTR, 204 ITF Juniors rating, 816 ITF Men's ranking and an 1,860 ATP ranking. He recently qualified for the M15 Kursumlijska Banja Main Draw in Serbia, where he defeated UTSA's Oskar Grzegorzewski. Messis captured the ITF J60 Belgrade singles title and finished as a doubles finalist alongside current Osprey Aron Major.
Noah Sauer Jimenez | 5-8 | Nyon, Switzerland | Gymnase Auguste Piccard
Jimenez boasts a 12.32 UTR, 88 Swiss Men's ranking and a 1,254 ITF Juniors rating. He competes for The Nyon Tennis Club, which was recently elevated to the highest national level of club tennis.
