Men’s Tennis to Host Armstrong Atlantic

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The University of North Florida men's tennis team to host No. 3 (NCAA Div. II) Armstrong Atlantic on March 1 at 2 p.m. at the UNF Tennis Complex in Jacksonville, Fla.

UNF (5-2) is on a three match win streak and is coming off a 5-2 road win over UCF last week. Sophomore Moritz Buerchner (No. 1), senior Hleb Maslau (No. 3) and freshmen Beauregard Treyz (No. 5) and Pedro Davisson (No. 6) claimed singles' wins for the Ospreys to help secure the match.

AASU (7-0, 3-0 Peach Belt) is coming off wins over Rollins and Anderson. The Pirates are ranked in the top three of the NCAA Division II standings and claimed a national title in 2009. Mikk Irdoja finished last season as the top ranked player in Division II singles and returns for a Pirates team that advanced to the quarterfinals of the Division II national championship. Also returning is ITA All-Americans Rafael Array and Eudaldo Bonet.

Following Tuesday's match, the Ospreys will open Atlantic Sun Conference play at home, hosting e defending conference champions East Tennessee State University at 2 p.m. on March 4.
