Experience: Worked as an academic counselor for the football program at Florida State University from 2000-01 while working towards his master[apos]s degree ... after graduating from FSU, accepted a position with the University of Alabama as the athletic academic advisor for the football program, serving in that capacity from 2001-04 ... moved to Vanderbilt University (2004-06) as an athletic academic counselor for the men[apos]s golf, women[apos]s soccer, lacrosse and bowling programs. Personal: Born on May 25, 1978, in Jackson, Mich. ... graduated from Newberry College in May 2000 with a bachelor[apos]s degree in sport management ... graduated from Florida State University in the summer of 2001 with a master[apos]s degree in sport administration ... married to the former Ms. Alison Lingerfelt.
