Experience: Joined the UNF Athletics Media Relations office in fall 2002 ... his 2004 cover for the women[apos]s soccer guide was judged as the best in the nation among Division II schools ... former sports editor at the Beaches Leader newspaper in Jacksonville Beach ... also worked for Sideline Sports Magazine, The Florida Times-Union, the Tampa Tribune, Disney[apos]s Wide World of Sports, the United States Basketball League[apos]s Jacksonville Barracudas and was editor of the Spinnaker, UNF[apos]s campus newspaper. Personal: Born on Nov. 17, 1976 ... Moved to Jacksonville with his family from St. Louis, Mo., in 1987 ... earned his bachelor[apos]s degree in communications from UNF in 2001 ... is single ... Member of CoSIDA ... the family dog is Pumbaa, but it lives with his parents ... is the oldest of two kids (younger sister, Angie) ... the people he looks up to most in life are his parents ... is allergic to cats ... favorite color is blue ... his last name is Italian, so of course he can cook ... grew up playing baseball and football, as well as racquetball ... only plays golf now ... is a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan ... lists [quote]Christmas Vacation[quote], [quote]Gladiator[quote], [quote]Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid[quote], [quote]Casablanca[quote] and [quote]Anchorman[quote] as some of the greatest movies ever made (that is not an opinion, it is a fact) ... attends Beaches United Methodist Church ... does not believe that God put us on this Earth to be self-serving, rather gave us the gift of life so that we may help others.
