MALIBU, Calif. - Fresh off his ITA Doubles Championship appearance, North Florida men's tennis senior Jack Findel-Hawkins, ranked No. 80 in singles, is set to compete in the Oracle/ITA Masters at Malibu Racquet Club this Thursday through Sunday.
The tournament featuring the highest-ranked competition in college tennis throughout the nation will be held at Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center at Pepperdine with the semifinal and final rounds taking play at the Malibu Racquet Club.
OPPONENT: 16th-seeded Findel-Hawkins plays 17th-seeded Pepperdine's Lautauro Pane at 3 p.m. EST.
TOURNAMENT: Thursday-Sunday - Oracle/ITA Masters - hosted by Pepperdine and the Malibu Racquet Club (Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center & Malibu Racquet Club - Malibu, Calif.).  Men's singles begins at 12 p.m. and features a draw of 32 competitors.
THE FIELD: Of the 32 men competing in the main draw, 22 are ranked nationally with the top seed Yuya Ito (Texas) ranked No. 3 in the Oracle/ITA freshman/newcomer rankings. Top seeds include No. 5 Christopher Eubanks (Ga. Tech), No. 9 Arthur Rinderknech (Texas A&M), No. 15 William Bushmauka (Kentucky), No. 20 Martin Redlicki (UCLA), No. 27 Nick Crystal (USC) and No. 28 Ryotaro Matsumura (Kentucky). Â
