Biography

2011-12 (junior): Posted a 10-7 singles record and was 6-3 in Atlantic Sun play… played mainly at No. 4 (6-3), but also played at No. 2 (1-0 ), No. 3 (1-2) and No. 5 (2-2)… had a four-match singles winning streak… defeated Lipscomb’s Colby Shaw (Apr. 7) 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4 singles… rallied for a three-set 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 No. 2 singles win over Louis Theodor of Kennesaw State (Apr. 13)… added another three-set win the next day against Mercer’s Peter Tauchner (Apr. 14), hanging on for a 6-1, 5-7, 6-0 win on the No. 3 court... claimed a 6-3, 6-3 win against Stetson’s Nathan Debut in the Atlantic Sun Championship semifinals, helping the UNF to defeat the Hatters 4-1 and advance to its first-ever Atlantic Sun Championship match… recorded a 14-5 mark in doubles play… won first six doubles matches with Moritz Buerchner, all on the No. 3 court… six-match doubles winning streak included a 9-8 (4) win against then-No. 36 Miami’s Victor Mauz and Marco Stancati… Atlantic Sun Academic Honor Roll.

2010-11 (Freshman): Named Second-Team All-Atlantic Sun with doubles partner Leonardo Nahar… went 13-10 overall in doubles play, including 9-6 with Nahar, and 8-1 in the conferernce (6-1 with Nahar)… had a six-match winning streak from Mar. 19-Apr. 10 in doubles play… posted an 8-4 win with Nahar over No. 63 East Tennessee State’s No. 3 doubles duo of Juan Ramirez and Robin Akser… had a 10-11 mark in singles play, including 5-5 in the Atlantic Sun… played mainly at No. 6 singles, going 6-4… also saw time at No. 3 (1-0), No. 4 (2-3) and No. 5 (1-4) singles… won four-straight matches with victories over Florida Atlantic’s Marc Wakim, Georgia Southern’s Thomas Bekkers, UCF’s Eugene Dolgovykh and Armstrong Atlantic’s Pedro Scocuglia.

Other Experience: Ranked No. 8 in Brazil in 2007… ranked 100th nationally by Tennis Recruiting Network coming out of Sarasota High School… competed in the Brazilian Championship and the Inter Federation Tournament where he helped his team to the tournament title in 2007… he was a four star recruit coming out of high school.

Personal: Majoring in sport management… son of Antonio and Lucia Davisson… has one sister, Ana… born May 24.
