PIGG'S POINTS
"I thought Ella [Chandler] ran a smart race. She doesn't have a lot of experience and I think each week, she gets a little bit better and gains a little bit more confidence. I thought she did a really, really good job making it into the finals. The highlight for me today was Mia [McLain] finishing sixth in the steeplechase. She's kind of had her gremlins in the steeple this year and she's continued to work and hasn't given up. It was really nice to see the smile she had on her face after she placed sixth. I was really proud of her. she never gave up when it got tough and the steeple is not a race for the weak. If you mess up, you fall in the water and it takes a lot of effort and courage and I thought she did a great job. So I was really, really proud of her."
