Fisher Earns Top-15 Mark in 5000m Race
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The North Florida track & field women concluded the ASUN Outdoor Championships at the Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium on Saturday evening. The women competed in both the 800m and 5000m finals as Ella Chandler fought a tough battle, earning a top-five time in the 800m with a mark of 2:09.12.

- Chandler gained a top-five placement in the women's 800m.
- Chandler finished the race in 2:09.12, placing fourth overall.

"Ella [Chandler] took that next step. Like we've known, she's talented and sometimes talent is a little scary and a little bit of a curse if you're not careful. So, we kept talking about what might be coming throughout the year and we'd see glimpses in practice or certain races where she does really good. It was cool to see everything come together for her. She had a really good time in a tremendous field and placed fourth. I was really proud of her, that was fantastic."
