AZUSA, Calif. – Sophomore Madeline Castillo clocked a personal-best time in the Women's 10000m to highlight the first day of action at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Cougar Athletic Stadium in Azusa, Calif.

Castillo bested her previous personal best by over 40 seconds with a time of 34:45.25 to place fourth in the Women's 10000m Open A.

Junior Colton Lawson turned in a time of 31.38.55 and graduate Sebastian Hernandez added a time of 31.46.99 in the Men's 10000m Open A. Redshirt junior Cole Perry posted a time of 9:00.63 in the Men's 3000m Steeplechase Open.

Junior Annika Buser recorded a time of 10:57.37 in the Women's 3000m Steeplechase Open.

North Florida continues its split weekend at Bryan Clay Invitational on Friday and Saturday, April 17-18 and opens action at the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta, Ga. on Friday and Saturday.
