JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's soccer returns to Hodges Stadium as it welcomes in-state rival, FIU, on Friday at 5 p.m. before facing off with LIU Brooklyn at 12 p.m. on Sunday.

SHORT STORY: North Florida is currently on a three-game win streak after a 2-0 weekend on the road. The Ospreys are off to their best start since the 2006 season. After the weekend, the Ospreys have one more non-conference home contest before heading into ASUNÂ play.
WHY THE GOLD?
North Florida players are wearing gold shoelaces and tape as they set out to support Go4theGoal -Â a non-profit charitable organization who provides supportive services to children with cancer & their families.Â
CONFER'S CORNER
"We are looking forward to being back at Hodges this weekend for our games. We have had a good week of training, stayed healthy and go some players back. We know FIU will be a difficult opponent and we have to stay organized on Friday. The girls have really been working hard since the start of preseason and it is great to see them cotinue to improve and grow as a team."
SPREADING THE WEALTH
Four different Ospreys have now recorded a goal this season. Thais Reiss notched two in the opening weekend, while three others added goals in the wins last time out.
BEST START!
North Florida is off to its best start since 2006 with a 3-1 record. That season, North Florida dropped just one non-conference match. The 2006 team went on to post an 11-6-2 mark.

North Florida leads the ASUN in shots with 62 attempts.Â
BLANK 'EM
Ranking first in the ASUN, feshman keeper Rhiannon Conelley matched last season's shut out total with her blank sheet against Winthrop. She is now chasing the 2013 record from Megan Dorsey who had three.
THAT'S A ZERO
With the shutout against Winthrop on Sunday, UNF is ties last season's blank sheets and ranks first in the ASUN. The UNF Division I record for shut outs in a season is nine.
EXTRA TIME
The Ospreys notched an overtime victory for just the second time under head coach Robin Confer. UNF is 2-2-8 in extra time during Confer's tenure.
LOOKING AHEAD
North Florida heads back north, this time to Upstate South Carolina where it takes of Furman on Friday before heading to Wofford for a 2 p.m. match on Sunday.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
FIU
- The Golden Panthers are still trying to find their first goal and win of the season.Â
- FIU is currently being outshot by 10 attempts per game.
- Both losses from the second weekend of play were 0-1.
- Sophomore Bria Williams returns after netting two goals last season, while Isabella de Almagro had a goal and two assists in 2016.
LIU BROOKLYN
- LIU is looking to bounce back after dropping an overtime decision vs. Iona on August 25, 2-1.
- Jenn Peters as the lone goal for LIU, while Marian Awad leads the team in shots.
- The Blackbirds have three players in the keeper position with Aline Allmann notching 200 minutes between the pipes. She owns a 0.90 GAA with 21 saves in her 0-1-1 record.
