Women’s Soccer’s McSwigan and Fekany Named to Preseason All-ASUN Team

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The ASUN Conference has announced the 2026 Women's Soccer Preseason Awards. North Florida's fifth year Paige McSwigan and fifth year Allie Fekany were both named to the Preseason All-ASUN Team.
"It's always special to see members of our program recognized by my peers in the ASUN conference," Head Coach Eric Faulconer stated. "Paige [McSwigan] and Allie [Fekany], now in their fifth year, enter the fall ranked among the top ten goal scorers in program history. Time and time again, they've delivered in critical moments, and I'm confident they will play an integral role in our team's success this season. I look forward to watching them continue to elevate our program and further cement their legacies in our record books."
For the second-straight year, McSwigan was named to the Preseason All-ASUN Team. She was previously named Second Team All-ASUN in 2024 and 2023, in addition to the 2023 ASUN All-Freshman Team.
Last season, McSwigan appeared in all 22 matches with 14 starts, and totaled 1,025 minutes played, which included starts in the last eight matches of the season. She totaled two goals and an assist for five points. McSwigan notched both of her goals in ASUN play, with her first goal of season off a header at Jacksonville on Oct. 19 and her second goal against Bellarmine in the ASUN Tournament Semifinals on Nov. 2 to help North Florida advance to the 2025 ASUN Tournament Final, its first appearance in program history.
She finished second on the team with 30 shots including 10 shots on goal for a .333 shot on goal percentage. For the second-consecutive year, McSwigan was selected to the 2026 Philippine Women's National Team. She is currently tied for tenth in Division I program history with 12 career goals. Off the pitch, McSwigan was named to the 2025 CSC Academic All-District Team and 2025 Academic All-ASUN.
Last season, Fekany was named 2025 Second Team All-ASUN and to the 2025 ASUN All-Tournament Team. She appeared in all 22 contests for North Florida and made 11 starts with seven starts in ASUN play. She also totaled 881 minutes played. She tallied six goals and an assist for 13 points with goals against Georgia Southern on Sept. 4, Queens on Sept. 21, Jacksonville on Sept. 28, her first collegiate brace against West Georgia on Sept. 18 and the game-winning goal against Eastern Kentucky in the ASUN Tournament Quarterfinals on Oct. 30.
Fekany totaled 20 shots and 16 shots on goal for a .800 shot on goal percentage. In ASUN play, she posted four goals and an assist for nine points, 15 shots and 12 shots on goal for an impressive .800 shot on goal percentage to help North Florida advance to the 2025 ASUN Tournament Final, its first appearance in program history. Fekany is currently tied for sixth in Division I program history with 14 career goals. Off the pitch, she was selected to participate in the 2026 NCAA Legacy Lab for the second-consecutive year.
The Ospreys were picked to finish fourth in the ASUN Preseason Coaches Poll. Overall, North Florida received 45 points with Jacksonville picked to finish third, Lipscomb second and FGCU first.
North Florida begins its season on the road in Statesboro, Ga., as they face Georgia Southern on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 7 p.m.
