Ospreys Head to Kennesaw State, Lipscomb to Continue ASUN Play

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's tennis continues ASUN play on the road as it travels to Kennesaw State and Lipscomb.

LAST TIME: North Florida shut out Kennesaw State on April 23, 2016 during the ASUN Conference Tournament semifinals. During the regular season, the Ospreys edged out the Owls, 5-2 in Jacksonville.

NOTEABLES
- The Ospreys are looking to continue strong road play after taking a big 6-1 victory from FGCU last week.
- UNF is 9-6 on the year with a 6-5 mark on the road and currently rank No. 59 in the nation after playing five ranked teams.
- Junior Jefta Kecic is on a four-match win streak including a match-clinching win against Tennessee Tech on Monday, March 20.

KENNESAW STATE
- Kennesaw started conference play cruising past USC Upstate and NJIT to extend its win streak to seven games.
- The Owls have not defeated the Ospreys once over their years of competition.
- Manuel Castellanos currently leads the team with seven dual match victories, and is on a six match winning streak.
-The pair of Simon Pritchard and Castellanos have the best doubles record with a 7-3 mark in the No. 1 position. The pair defeated UNF in doubles last season, while Pritchard took a tightly contested three-set win against Findel-Hawkins during the regular season.

LIPSCOMB
- Lipscomb plays Stetson before taking on UNF on Saturday and enter the weekend with a 1-1 mark after grabbing a win at NJIT before losing 4-3 at USC Upstate.
- Alejandro Manzanares leads the team in wins with a 7-4 mark spread across No.1-3.
- In doubles at the No. 3 position, Victor Chaw and Rob Mitchell hold a team-best record of 4-1.
- Manzanares is coming off a three match winning streak in singles, while George Wong and Thais Minet have a three game winning streak in doubles.

North Florida heads home to face USC Upstate on Thursday, April 6 at 6 p.m. and hosts NJIT on Saturday at 2 p.m.
