SPARTANBURG, S.C. - It once again came down to the third set of the No. 1 singles match to grab the victory, but North Florida men's tennis came up just short as USC Upstate grabbed the 4-3 win on its home courts on Saturday afternoon.

UNF opened the match by securing the doubles win with victories at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots. Julian Bradley and Yannick Zuern won 6-2 before Jonathan Deautriell and Alberto De Meo paired up for a 6-3 victory in the No. 3 position.

Lasse Muscheites put the Ospreys out front 2-0 after a 6-3, 6-2 victory in No. 2 singles. Muscheites is now on a five-match winning streak in singles action. Freshman Sahil Deshmukh was the other UNF player to take a victory against the Spartans, 6-2, 6-3, in the No. 6 spot.

The Ospreys now have a week to prepare for Georgia State when the Panthers come to town on Friday, March 18 at 6 p.m.
