JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – University of North Florida softball scored all of its runs in the last two innings in order to come away with a 4-2 win over ETSU on Sunday at Betty Balser Field and win the three-game Atlantic Sun series.

UNF (25-19, 9-12 Atlantic Sun) went up 3-0 in the top of the sixth behind RBI-singles from Abby Tewey and Mariah Reynolds. With runners on first and second, Tewey's hit brought home Ashley Holton for the game's first run. In the next at-bat, Reynolds drilled a hit to right center that scored both Marissa Thomas and Tewey.

ETSU (16-25, 5-13 Atlantic Sun) answered with two runs in the bottom of the sixth. Nicole Fox got home on Jackie Baird's hit up the middle. Taylor Carter later drew a bases-loaded walk that brought in Katie Wolff to make it a 3-2 game.

UNF added an insurance run in the seventh as Katie Mandigo had a bases-loaded RBI-single that drove in Thomas.

Kaylie Wallace pitched all 7.0 innings en route to receiving the win. Wallace held ETSU to two runs off six hits and struck out four.

Wolff received the loss after giving up three runs off five hits and striking out three in the first 5.1 innings.

Thomas, Tewey and Reynolds each tallied two hits.

Six different Bucs had one hit.

UNF returns to action with next weekend's three-game Atlantic Sun series at Florida Gulf Coast. The series begins with a Friday doubleheader at 5 p.m., and concludes with a single game on Saturday at 2 p.m.
