Softball's ASUN Championship Run Comes To A Close Against Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -Â North Florida saw its ASUN Championship run come to a close after falling to Jacksonville, 9-2, on Friday, May 8, at UNF Softball Complex.

Jacksonville would strike first with a four-run first inning to take an early lead.
Â
The Ospreys would cut the deficit in half, 4-2, after a bases loaded RBI single from junior infielder Hannah Davila in the third inning.
Â
The Dolphins would respond with a four run fourth frame to extend their lead to, 8-2. They would later tack on a run in the sixth to reach the eventual final.
