JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – No. 73 University of North Florida men's tennis is set to host a pair of Atlantic Sun Conference matches over the weekend. On Friday, April 1 the Ospreys will host Stetson at noon and follow that up with a Saturday, April 2 match against Florida Gulf Coast beginning at 1 p.m. at the UNF Tennis Complex.
The Ospreys (11-6, 6-1 A-Sun) has won the past four matches and defeated Belmont, 6-1 the last time out as UNF picked up the doubles' point early and followed that with five wins in singles play. Hleb Maslau, Pedro Davisson, Leonardo Nahar, Beauregard Treyz and Anton Rabinov all grabbed wins.
Maslau has tallied a 12-5 record in singles this season while Buerchner and Sotomarino are 11-3 and 10-7, respectively. All three players have seen time in the No. 1, 2 and 3. Nahar is 9-8 on the season, playing primarily in the No. 4 while Davisson is 8-8, seeing time mostly in the No. 6 and Treyz has posted a mark of 7-9, dividing his time primarily between the No. 4 and 5 matches.

Stetson (16-8, 5-3 A-Sun) shut out Oberlin, 7-0 the last time out as the Hatters swept all the matches. The Hatters are currently fifth in the A-Sun standings heading into the final weeks of the regular season.
UNF fell to Stetson, 6-1 in the regular season, and 2-4 in the semifinals of the A-Sun tournament in 2010. The Hatters were the No. 2 seed last year and return first team all-conference selection, Maksim Levanovich and all-freshman honoree Didrik Berg.
FGCU (3-16, 1-7 A-Sun) fell 6-1 to Brown in its last match. Mitchell Lvovsky picked up the lone point for the Eagles in the No. 5 singles. The Eagles will wrap up the season in Jacksonville this weekend since FGCU is ineligible for postseason competition due to NCAA reclassification rules.
The Ospreys defeated FGCU, 7-0 last year. The Eagles return second team all-conference member, Matthew Rock to the roster this season.
