As a junior, 2005-06: Competed in eight events, including every event in the spring, finishing with a 76.7 stroke average ... had a pair of top-20 finishes and one top 10 ... all five of his rounds under par came in the spring season ... saw action at the Gary Koch Invitational in Tampa, Fla., for his first start of the year ... tied for 34th at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship, where he closed with a 75 ... opened the Hyatt Plantation Club Intercollegiate with a 69 and was tied for second after the first round of play ... finished the event with rounds of 73 and 71 to tie for 10th, a career-best finish ... shot matching 72s all three rounds of the A-Sun Championship to finish 3-under-par and tie for 14th.
As a sophomore, 2004-05: Made an appearance in two tournaments, earning one spot in the starting five... Did not play an event in the fall... Saw his first action in the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship, where he played as an individual and closed the tournament with a 2-under par 70... Cracked the starting five at the Seminole Intercollegiate, finishing 67th in the event.
Previous School: Attended Jacksonville State University.
High School: 2003 graduate of Saddlebrook High School. Also attended Silver Lake High School where he played golf for Ray Dand.
Amateur: Made the Massachusetts Amateur quarterfinals in 2003 and the CYO Match Play semifinals in 2002.
Personal: Majoring in communications. Born March 8, 1983, in Dorchester, Mass. Hometown is Pembroke, Mass. Son of Linda and Russ Haglund. Hobbies include playing hockey.
