As a freshman, 2004-05 (Florida Atlantic): Competed in all 11 of the Owls[apos] events, finishing the season with four top 25 finishes and a 76.28 stroke average ... showed steady improvement in the fall after beginning the season with a tie for 65th at the Sea Trail Men[apos]s Intercollegiate; he went on to finish no lower than a tie for 28th in his last three events ... fired a season-low 66 at the Pirate Fall Intercollegiate on Oct. 18 ... best finish of the season was a solo 12th at the Charleston Southern Fall Invitational Nov. 1-2 ... followed that up with a tie for 13th at the Golf Daytona Beach Invitational Nov. 8-9 ... recorded four top-30 finishes in the spring, culminating with a tie for 22nd at the Atlantic Sun Championship ... led the Owls in their second event of the spring, carding a tie for 30th at the Dick Witcoff/USF Invitational ... fired a 1-over-par 72 in the second round of the A-Sun Championship for his best round of the spring.
High School: 2004 graduate of Christopher Columbus High School, where he played for David Riley ... four-year letterwinner who was an all-county selection every year of his high school career ... helped lead his team to the Florida 6A state title in 2001 and 2002 ... finished second in the 2001 district tournament, shooting a career-low 66.
Juniors: Competed in the North and South Junior in 2002, finishing second in the event ... competed on the Future Master[apos]s Tours and in American Junior Golf Association events.
Amateur: Took medalist honors at a qualifier for the 2006 Florida State Amateur, firing a 69 at the Golf Club at North Hampton in Fernandina Beach, Fla. ... led after two rounds of play at the 2006 Gate Invitational, eventually finishing sixth ... has also competed in the U.S. Amateur and the U.S. Public Links Championships.
