Men's Tennis Makes ITA All-Academic Team, Nine Selected as ITA Scholar Athletes

TEMPE, Ariz. - North Florida men's tennis posted a 3.64 GPA during the spring 2025 semester to help in earning a spot on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team as released by the national organization Thursday, July 24.

Additionally, nine Ospreys earned ITA Division I Scholar-Athlete distinction. Jean Deloziere, Bruno Vietri, Andreas Scott, Benjamin Scott, Spencer Dorosheff, Chase Healey, Breno Marques, Youssef Labbene and Gianluca Filoramo all earned such distinction.

In order to earn team distinction, the squad has to have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale). To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, the must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year.

The Ospreys led the athletic department among male programs with the highest team GPA as well.

Within the sport of tennis, student-athletes continue to exceed expectations in the classroom and on the court. In 2025, 994 Division I Men's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, and 159 men's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
