
Hartenstein Secures CSC First Team Academic All-American Honors

First Academic All-American Selection in Program History
GREENWOOD, Ind. - Senior Jonas Hartenstein becomes the first player in program history to become a CSC First Team Academic All-America selection, as announced by the national organization on Wednesday, June 5.
The ASUN Scholar-Athlete of the Year, as well as the ASUN Player & Doubles Pair of the Year, helped the Ospreys win the conference regular season and championship titles on their way to an NCAA Championship tournament appearance. He also was selected into the NCAA Singles Championship tournament this past season as well.
Hartenstein joins Ethan Ash (men's soccer) as UNF athletes to receive CSC Academic All-American honors during the 2023-24 season. This season was also the second time that Hartenstein was selected to the CSC Academic All-District Team, as he is one of three athletes to reach multiple distinctions in program history.
The Berlin, Germany, native notched 3.92 GPA while majoring in communications his senior year. The three-time First Team All-ASUN and three-time Academic All-ASUN honoree went 14-7 overall in singles play this season, including an undefeated 8-0 mark against conference opponents, and a 17-5 doubles mark, all on court one.

The 2023-24 Academic All-America® Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
