The Ospreys were able to carry their momentum into singles play, as they won five of the six singles matches, with three being done in straight sets. Claiming the first singles point was Scott, who won his match in straight sets. Juan Pablo Cenoz won in straight sets as well to put UNF up, 3-0, at the time and were on the brink of wrapping up the match.
