KENNESAW, Ga. – North Florida Men's Tennis picked up a 4-3 road win at Kennesaw State in Kennesaw, Ga., on Thursday.

After falling behind 4-1 on court one, Freshman Aron Major and graduate student Andreas Scott battled back for a 7-5 win to begin doubles action.

Graduate Breno Marques and junior Enrique Pena clinched the doubles point for UNF with a 7-6(1) tiebreaker win on court three. With the win, Marques and Pena improved to 4-0 as a pair. Overall, Marques improved to 9-6 in doubles action and Pena improved to a perfect 6-0 in dual doubles play.

The Ospreys the first set on courts one, three, five and six to kick off singles play.

Freshman Kyle Piqueras earned a 7-5, 1-6, 6-1 win on court three to kick off singles play. Scott would extend North Florida's lead to 2-0 with a 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 triumph on the top court. For Scott, it marked his fifth-consecutive singles win.

Kennesaw State answered back with a pair of singles wins of their own on courts two and four.

Marques clinched the match for the Ospreys with a 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 win on court five.

North Florida closes out its three-match road swing on Saturday, April 4 with a match at Stetson in DeLand, Fla., at Mandy Stoll Tennis Center at 1 p.m. ET.
