Schell & Duff Share 26th Overall in North Carolina

WILMINGTON, N.C. - North Florida men's golf finished out its week at the Williams Cup hosted by North Carolina with a ninth-place team finish on Tuesday afternoon.

The Ospreys wrapped up their final round with Brett Schell and Jason Duff each scoring 5-over 221 for a share of 26th overall. They both had three birdies over their last 18 holes to combine for 22 birdies in the tournament.

ROUND REFLECTIONS

Schell holed a trio of birdies over his last seven holes to stay just outside the top 25 overall at 5-over 221.
The sixth-year finished his week with 12 birdies and recorded the second-best par-five average score at 6-under.
Duff used his 10 birdies from this week to join Schell tied for 26th overall at 5-over 221.
Filippo Serra recorded a pair of birdies and was one par short of having the most in the tournament with 38 total to place 41st overall.
Chase Carroll once again put together a great showing with four birdies to go 1-over 73 on the day, going Schell and Serra in the final round.
Danny Erickson had a solid start to his final round to put away the week for the Ospreys at UNC.
The Ospreys finished the week tied for fourth in par-five average score at 2-under.
UNF also completed its tournament appearance with 155 total pars and 37 total birdies.
