Five Ospreys Finish Top 25 To Earn Runner-Up At Florida Atlantic Invitational

JUPITER, Fla. – Five Ospreys finished in the top-25 on the individual leaderboard to lead University of North Florida Men's Golf to a runner-up finish on the 11-team leaderboard in the Florida Atlantic Invitational at The Bear's Club on Tuesday.
North Florida placed second at 26-under 1,060 (352, 352, 356). The Ospreys posted the lowest average score on Par 3s with 2.95. North Florida totaled the second-most eagles in the field with three and the second-most birdies with 59.
Freshman Easton Oliva made his collegiate debut and carded a 6-under 210 (70-69-71) to tie for eighth on the individual leaderboard.
Oliva finished tied for first within the field with a 2.75 score on Par 3s and tallied a team-high 14 birdies.
Freshman Danny Wehle made his collegiate debut and placed tied for 13th at 5-under 211 (68-67-76).
Senior Danny Erickson rounded out three Ospreys in the top-15 on the individual leaderboard at 4-under 212 (71-72-69) to finish tied for 15th.
Erickson carded 13 birdies and tied the second-lowest average score on Par 5s with 4.25.
Sophomore Luke Balaskiewicz carded a 3-under 213 (70-71-72) to place tied for 20th and senior Jean-Philippe Parr added a 2-under 214 (73-73-68) to finish tied for 24th.
