TOURNAMENT NOTEBOOK
- The Ospreys will be competing in the Lady Paladin Invitational for the sixth time in program history, as well as the fifth time in the past six seasons.
- Last season, UNF finished third overall as a team led by Eisenbeiss at 8-under 208, who went on to win her second-career individual medalist crown.
- She had a pair of 4-under 68 rounds, including six birdies on the final day, to finish with the most birdies at the tournament with 15 total.
- The three-time All-ASUN selection also matched her career-best 54-hole mark, which fell one stroke short of the program record for low score.
- Wyndom Burnett, Jessie Cai and Kaitlynn Washburn will all be returning to Furman after playing in the tournament last year.
- Burnett and Cai both scored 6-over 222 to share 22nd overall in the early fall tourney.
- This will be the only time this season that the Ospreys will be playing in two invites over a span of eight days.
- This field includes 16 teams total with UNF being the only team represented from the ASUN.
- UNF will have a lineup of two seniors, a junior, a redshirt sophomore and a freshman.
- One round of 18 holes total will be played on each day from Friday through Sunday.
- Friday and Saturday's rounds will be a 10 a.m., shotgun start, followed by Sunday being a 9 a.m., shotgun start.
FROM THE 19TH HOLE
- Eisenbeiss led all Ospreys in the season debut tournament at Wisconsin highlighted with a final round of 2-under 70 to reach seventh overall on the leaderboard. She returns to Furman this weekend, where she is the reigning individual medalist from last season's Lady Paladin.
- Casilda Allendesalazar made her UNF debut at the Badger Invitational tied for 46th overall with a score of 11-over 227. Her best round came on the second day going 1-over 73 to help solidify the top-50 placement.Â
- One Kashima played the first tournament of her collegiate career at Wisconsin to place just outside the top 50 in her debut. The true freshman had a great start to her career at 2-over 74 in the first round of play.
- Cai was right behind Kashima to place with a share of 64th at the Badger Invitational to start her senior season. She will be one of four returners that will be making their way back to Furman to compete at the Lady Paladin.
- Burnett will be move from being an unattached individual to playing with the team as the No. 5 player at Furman this upcoming weekend. The ASUN All-Freshman selection looks to replicate her great performance from last year's Lady Paladin.
- Washburn will be competing as the unattached individual in the second tournament of the week for the Ospreys. The redshirt junior look to bounce back at Furman after a rough start in her season debut earlier this week.
