
Castaldi Earns Top Finish For Women's Golf At Coach Mo Classic

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Junior Brianna Castaldi earned the top finish for North Florida Women's Golf with a tie for 11th place at the Coach Mo Classic at St. Johns Golf and Country Club on Tuesday.Â

Junior Mohea Mansbendel tied a team-high three birdies and posted the Ospreys' best 18-hole score with a 1-under 71 in Round 3 to finish tied for 22nd. She was one of four Ospreys who carded an even-par or better score on the final day of play. Redshirt junior Kaitlyn Schroeder and graduate student Helen Zhou also tied a team-high three birdies in Round 3.

North Florida improved a spot to finish sixth out of 16 teams on the leaderboard.Â

The entire lineup for North Florida, in addition to a pair of individuals, placed in the top-50 of the leaderboard. Zhou recorded the highest improvement on the leaderboard on the final day with an even-par score and three birdies to move up 15 points into a tie for 50th. Competing as individuals, freshman duo Ava Cottis and Ines Izuzquiza Ruiz de Arana also placed in the top-50. Cottis is finished third with a 4.58 average and 5-under on Par 5 holes.Â
