PIGG'S POINTS
"It was an exciting weekend and I thought we competed well. I think one of the things that I saw was that we did have some good marks, but we had other runners who weren't quite where they wanted to be, but they still competed hard. Now we head back to training with some data of our strengths and weaknesses, so we know what we need to do to improve. Both Nathan Jubran and Aidan O'Gorman both had high quality marks hitting 8:09 and 8:12 [in the 3k]. I thought Timothy Doyle competed well and did a good job in the 1-mile. Aiden Arnold and Ladarius Tellis are both true freshman that ran smart and competed well in the 800m. They executed their race plan really well and they did a good job.
The high jumpers, outside of Kaley Petrosky, have never competed indoors. Both Izabelle Hays and Tariq Lajoie were just coming in and figuring things out. They just needed to get comfortable and get their steps down. I though Tariq, as well as Kaley and Izabelle, did a nice job of getting good clearances. Izabella's jump was right at her lifetime best so that was a good event for us." -- head coach Jeff Pigg
