ORLANDO, Fla. - After a multi-hour rain delay pushed play indoors, UNF men's tennis (6-12) dropped its regular season finale at #9 UCF (16-3), 4-0, Sunday, April 11.
The match was originally slated to be played outdoors at the USTA Tennis Center before being moved to the Adidas Performance Center.
How it Happened
Rodrigo Crespo and
Dominik Barton were one game from going 4-0 at second doubles on the year, but UCF won at pairs one and three to earn the doubles tally.
Crespo corralled the first set at court four, but UCF earned first-set wins at the other five singles courts.
Nilo Duarte evened his match up at second singles, although the Knights earned sweeps at one, three and six singles to clinch the match.
