MEET DAY - The North Florida cross country teams continue the season at the Mt. Dew Invitational hosted by the University of Florida in Gainesville Saturday (Sept. 14).

OSPREY FACTS
LAST TIME OUT - The men's team beat the Gators in the season opening UNF vs UF Dual Meet by a margin of 22 points … The Ospreys placed four runners in the top 5 and also boasted seven of the first 10 runners … Grace Gumpel had a top-five finish in the women's race.

MAKING STRIDES - The North Florida men's lineup features four of the top-five finishers from the UNF vs UF Dual Meet (Nathan Jubran, Leo Queyrou, Aidan O'Gorman, and Sem Sultanov) … The women's team will be led by Grace Gumpel and Raquel Lespasio, the team's top two runners in the last meet.

NOTABLE OPPONENTS - The invitational will feature host Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast, Troy, Central Florida, and South Florida ... The Gators are hosting 36 teams.

EVENT SCHEDULE - The men's 8K race will begin at 7:55 a.m., followed by the women's 5K race at 8:30 a.m. ... The award ceremony will start at 9:30 a.m.

UP NEXT - The Ospreys will compete at the Missouri Invitational hosted by the Tigers Sept. 27 in Columbia, Mo.

"We're looking forward to running at Florida. It is always a good early season meet for us. Obviously the Gators are always good and usually, there is a mix of other teams that make it a good race for all levels of competitors. We're getting healthy after a rash of upper respiratory issues so it will be nice to line up with most of our team on both sides." -- Head coach Jeff Pigg
