Nani Wins Twice in Singles, Will Play in Semifinals

STATESBORO, Ga. - UNF men's tennis is in position to win two main draw titles after day two at the Georgia Southern Championships Saturday. Joe Ellis and PJ Kotan will play for the Doubles Gold Draw title Sunday after downing Badola and Muhammad of Kennesaw State, 6-4, in the semifinals.

Federico Nani sees himself in the Singles Blue Draw Semifinals Sunday after a pair of singles triumphs. The senior defeated Karl Mosterd (CofC) 6-4, 7-6 (2) and returned to down Aljaz Kaplja (JSU) in straight sets in quarterfinals action.

Senior Charley Castaing also picked up a doubles and singles victory, giving UNF four-combined wins Saturday. Kotan nearly gave UNF another, but fell in a marathon match against Murphy McCullough (GSU) in the 9th-16th place bracket, 3-6, 6-4, 14-12.
