- North Florida takes home court for the first time after competing in the FSU Invite and ITA Kick-Off Weekend. The Ospreys took down Tulsa, 4-3, to advance to the championship match against No. 2 Ohio State.
- Freshman Joe Ellis is now 3-1 in singles play.
- North Florida posted a 5-1 record at home last season.
- Last season against Troy, Lasse Muscheites picked up a straight set victory in the No. 4 spot while helping UNF grab the doubles point.
- At Elon, Muscheites and Sahil Deshmukh came away victorious in the No. 4 and 5 spots.

Troy
- Troy started off the season with a 4-0 loss to Ole Miss.
- The Trojans welcomed six freshman to their lineup and return with seniors Mustapha Belcora and Andy Lau.
- Lau brings leadership and experience for Troy, having earned a spot on the All-Sun Belt doubles team and singles team.
Elon
- Elon is coming off a 4-3 loss to William & Mary, extending its losing streak to three.
- Junior Felipe Sarrasague currently holds a 3-1 record in singles play followed by a 1-0 doubles mark. Sarrasague earned a spot on the 2017 All-CAA First Team in singles and made CAA Player of the Week twice during the 2017 campaign.
- The Phoenix welcomed back doubles duo Neal Port and Salvador Mijares, who worked together to post a 17-3 doubles record last season. Port and Mijares start off the 2018 contest 2-1 in doubles play.
