Men's Tennis Takes Down Tulsa in ITA Kick-Off Weekend

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Freshman Nilo Duarte fought from a set down to come back and take the next two to help North Florida men's tennis take down Tulsa, 4-3, in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend event hosted by Ohio State on Saturday.
QUICK HITS
- The Ospreys grabbed the doubles point with wins in the No. 2 and No. 1 spot.
- Duarte clinched the match for UNF after classmate Joe Ellis tied it at 3-all.
- Lasse Muscheites picked up the first singles win at the No. 3 spot.
- Ellis is now 3-1 in the early part of the season.Â

North Florida now takes on No. 2 Ohio State who downed Yale, 4-0, in the first match on Saturday. Five Buckeye players are ranked in the top 120 in collegiate tennis. The winner advances to the National Indoor Championships.
