LAST TIME vs. UPSTATE
In a lopsided game, the Ospreys grabbed a 4-3 win against Upstate last season in an overtime battle. Sarah Wasser scored the game-winning goal on a far shot in the 97th minute. Katy Mixon also scored two goals in the second half before Upstate responded with three of its own to make it 3-2 in the visitors favor. Krista Colubiale with an assist from Mixon knotted the score in the 84th minute to send it to extras.
LAST TIME VS. NJIT
Katy Mixon recorded two goals against the Highlanders a year ago. She scored in the 36th minute before NJIT evened the game late in the first. Kelli Crowley then put the Ospreys ahead on a header from Sarah Wasser. Mixon then added an insurance goal in the 82nd minute to secure the first ASUN win for UNF.
ASUN OPENER
With the win at Jacksonville to open the ASUN season, this Osprey squad becomes the first since 2012 to record a victory to open league action.
