Ospreys Competing at Clemson Invitational Indoor Meet on Saturday

CLEMSON, S.C. -- The North Florida track and field teams open the 2017 indoor season in earnest on Saturday with the Clemson Invitational at the Clemson Indoor Track Facility.
Field events are set to begin at 11 a.m. while running events are scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m.

Following the Clemson Invitational, North Florida's next indoor meet will be the Camel City Invitational on Feb. 3-4 at the the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C.
QUOTABLE...
"We are looking forward to opening up our Indoor Track season at Clemson. It will be the first meet on their brand new Indoor track. It is a state-of-the-art banked 200 meter track and appears to be one of the best indoor tracks in the US. Meet has a really competitive field of teams including Florida State, Clemson and South Carolina, which will provide great opportunities for the Ospreys.This year is the first season that we will particpate in three highly competitive meets prior to the ASUN Championships. It will be exciting to see our athletes compete after a very successful fall season." -- Head coach Jeff Pigg
