JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—The No. 75 ranked and top-seeded University of North Florida women's tennis team faces No. 4 seeded Stetson on Friday in semifinal action at the Atlantic Sun Championships being held at the UNF Tennis Complex.
"Stetson is a solid team," said head coach Audra Cohen. "They are good competitors, so I expect the match to be well fought by both sides. We have earned the right to have all of the pressure on us at this tournament and now it is time to show poise and embrace our earned pressure."
The Ospreys, who enter the tournament with a 15-5 record and regular season league champions, had five players on All-Atlantic Sun teams and Cohen was named Coach of the Year for the second time in three seasons.
Stetson heads into the match with a 17-5 record after blanking Mercer on Thursday afternoon in the quarterfinals. The Hatters earned seven All-Atlantic Sun awards including Player of the Year, Diana Bukajeva.
