Biography
2014-15 (Senior): Played mainly doubles… earned All-Atlantic Sun Second-Team honors at No. 2 doubles with Luise Intert... tallied an overall 16-5 doubles record, including 14-5 with Intert… was a 8-1 in doubles during tournament play in the fall… went a perfect 5-0 against conference opponents in doubles competition… won six of last seven completed doubles matches with Intert… won two doubles crowns in the fall, claiming the Doubles A Championship at the Mercer Bear Gridiron Classic (Sept. 12-14) and the Doubles 2 title at the Bedford Cup (Oct. 10-12)… notched a 12-4 overall singles record, going 7-3 in tournaments and 5-1 in dual match play… split time at No. 5 (3-0) and No. 6 singles (2-1)… won last five completed singles matches.
2013-14 (Junior): Compiled a 12-10 singles record and a 11-11 doubles mark… missed the fall season due to injury… split time between No. 3 (1-2), No. 3 (3-4), No. 5 (2-2) and No. 6 (3-2) singles… closed out the regular season on a five-match singles winning streak… collected three wins at No. 6 and two at No. 5 during that streak… opened the season with four-straight victories, including three at the UCF Invitational (Jan. 18-20)… played all doubles matches at the No. 1 position… had a pair of four-match winning streaks with partner Simona Weymar… first streak included two tie-break wins with one being an 8-7 (5) decision over Florida Gulf Coast’s Elizabeth Means and Sarah Means (Mar. 21) and the second coming as an 8-7 (11-9) victory against ETSU’s Ana Gerbasi and Lyn Yee Choo (Mar. 28)… finished the season with a second four-match winning streak… Atlantic Sun Academic Honor Roll selection.
2012-13 (Sophomore): Went 14-8 overall, 4-4 in dual matches… saw time predominately at the No.5 spot…defeated Nova Southeastern’s Iryna Serdyuk 7-5, 6-3… defeated Houston’s Charlotte Phillips 6-4,6-3 (Feb. 15)… sustained an injury ending her singles play… paired with Simona Weymar went 12-5 overall in doubles, 11-0 in dual matches and 5-0 in doubles conference play… defeated then-No.61 College of Charleston’s Christin Newman and Brooke Amis 9-8 (Mar. 5)… defeated USC Upstate’s Isabel von Stryk and Talia Rojas 8-1 in the semifinals of A-Sun conference tournament… upset the ETSU’s Salma Dahbi and Antonia Kolovou 8-6 in the A-Sun conference final
2011-12 (Freshman): Second-Team All-Atlantic Sun selection in doubles with partner Simona Weymar… also named to the Atlantic Sun’s All-Freshman Team… only played during the spring season… mainly played in the doubles line-up… had a 17-6 doubles record, including 16-5 in duals and a perfect 9-0 in conference matches… teamed with Weymar for a 15-5 record and a 10-match winning streak… posted an 8-5 win against USC Upstate’s Julie Bell and Hannah Al-Sakati (Mar. 16) at No. 2 doubles that started winning streak… notched 8-0 shutouts against Lipscomb’s Danielle Hansen and Elizabeth Keevil (Apr. 7) and Mercer’s Amanda Bertani and Melanie Schumilas (Apr. 14)… had a 7-7 overall showing in singles and was 5-6 in duals… posted a 4-1 conference singles record… was a perfect 4-0 on the No. 6 court… won four straight from Mar. 16- Mar.29… began winning streak with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout over USC Upstate’s Lauren Byars (Mar. 16)… also tallied a 6-0, 6-0 shutout of Mercer’s Katherine Cooper (Apr. 14)… Atlantic Sun Academic Honor Roll.
Other Experience: Graduated from Libere Vivere in 2010… ranked No. 23 by CBT at U-18 in 2010… held a No. 555 ITF ranking for U-18 in 2011.
Personal: Majoring in business management… daughter of Andrea De Barros Pacheco and Jorge Carloa Pereira… has a sister, Thaisa.
