Biography
2014-15 (Senior): Earned All-Atlantic Sun Second-Team honors for doubles with Quetzali Vazquez… named Atlantic Sun Academic All-Conference… selected as UNF’s Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year during the annual Athletic Awards Banquet… wrapped up a stellar career, compiling a 13-12 overall singles mark and a 16-8 doubles record… tallied a 9-4 singles record in dual matches, playing at No. 3 (4-3), No. 4 (1-1) and No. 5 (4-0)… bounced back from a mid-season injury and went on a five-match winning streak (Mar. 28-Apr. 18), including consecutive 6-0, 6-0 wins against Louisiana’s Lauren Dupuis (Apr. 10) and Lipscomb’s Jenny Borck (Apr. 18)… played a competitive first set against No. 108 Wendy Zhang from Miami in the NCAA Tournament, ending the match down 6-5 in the first set when the overall match was determined… teamed with Taylor Hollander for much of the season at doubles, going 9-8 overall, 6-4 in tournament play in the fall, and 3-4 at No. 1 doubles during the spring… after coming back from mid-season injury, paired with Vazquez and compiled a 5-0 overall mark – all on the No. 3 court… went 3-0 in Atlantic Sun play with Vazquez.
2013-14 (Junior): Earned All-Atlantic Sun Second-Team honors with doubles partner Taylor Hollander… went 18-5 with Hollander, including a perfect 7-0 against Atlantic Sun opponents… had an 11-match unbeaten streak with Hollander (Mar. 10-Apr. 12) with nine of those victories being at No. 2 doubles… captured the doubles title at the UNF Invitational (Nov. 1-3) with Hollander… registered an 18-12 singles record, including 6-0 against Atlantic Sun opponents… spent majority of dual matches at No. 3 singles (7-6), but also saw time at No. 2 (4-0) and No. 4 (1-0)… finished the season on a five-match winning streak in singles competition… faced a nationally-ranked opponent in No. 69 Katerina Popova from No. 33 South Carolina (Feb. 21)… Atlantic Sun Academic Honor Roll selection.
2012-13 (Sophomore): Named to the All-Atlantic Sun Second Team for doubles with Taylor Hollander… went 23-8 overall in singles, including 14-4 in dual matches and 6-1 in conference matches…finished the season on a three-match winning streak for singles… had a seven-match winning streak that began with 6-3, 6-3 win over South Alabama’s Cinta Papke (Feb. 24)… went 11-5 overall in doubles, 8-2 in dual matches and 5-0 in conference matches with three different doubles partners at the No. 3 doubles spot… paired with Hollander to go 6-0… defeated Mercer’s Roxy Bartz and Natalie Franklin 9-8 (Mar. 17)… defeated Stetson’s Lindsay Cable and Eveline Lepiany 8-1 (Apr. 6).
2011-12 (Freshman): Named to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshman Team… played only in the spring… tallied a 13-7 overall singles record, including 12-5 in dual matches and a perfect 8-0 in conference matches… played mainly at No. 6 singles (8-2), but also saw time at No. 5 singles (4-3)… had an eight-match winning streak that began with a 6-3, 6-2 win against USC Upstate’s Maria Tonani (Mar. 16)… shutout both Lipscomb’s Samantha Bowman (Apr. 7) and Mercer’s Sarah Hanna (Apr. 14) 6-0, 6-0… went 4-4 in doubles… won two-straight doubles matches with Lorena Aviles… teamed with Aviles for an 8-1 No. 1 doubles win against Eastern Kentucky’s Kristina Labeja and Melissa Gerritsen (Mar. 8)… also had an 8-1 win with Aviles at No. 2 doubles against West Virginia’s Veronica Cardenas and Emily Mathis (Mar. 25)… Atlantic Sun Academic Honor Roll.
Other Experience: Graduated from CIC BH in 2010… top-ranked junior tennis player in 2010 and 2011… won the 2009 ITF Bahia G5 Open.
